Hero Wars Dominion: November 2025
November 2, 2025: An Eventful Start
October's post got cut off early because a lot was taking place that couldn't be worked around at that point in time. That said, I was able to finish off the events that were active at the time and purchased what I could from the shops before they closed and the currencies disappeared. Yes, you read that last part correctly.
We can no longer keep event currencies for later use as they're automatically exchanged once the event ends. Not 24-hours after the event but immediately after. Anyway, The new titan will likely be on the backburner for a while since I'm still working on my main titans.
I'm actively working on a task list so I don't forget to do certain things in game that are tied to resources. Speaking of resources we got Spooky Festival, a new map for the month, a calendar of events, Tournament of Power Hero Edition, new seasons and Jet is Hero of the Month.
Also, completely forgot about Totem Fusion. Even with the constant pop-up window that shows up every time I log into the game. Didn't pay it any attention but I'm use to not having the resources needed to upgrade any of the new and shiny features that get released.

I had Primal Zeal (Rank 1) at the start and wanted to replace it with Triple Cycle. I pushed the slider to 100 for the first spin and actually got Triple Cycle (Rank 1). Finally something I really wanted.
So I spun again with the slider at 100. I got Triple Cycle (Rank IV). This means if I want to upgrade the Elemental skill, I will need at least 100 Elemental Catalysts (I only have 40) just to make the upgrade meaningful.
This won't be occurring anytime soon unless an event surfaces that rewards these resources. At the moment, my focus is on ToP and Legend of the Great Ones as I work on getting 1-2 of my heroes caught up with upgrades.
November 5, 2025: Spooky Festival and Tournament of Power
Spooky Festival
Spooky Festival is usually one of a handful of events that gets hyped or is at least one of a few that some players look forward to. There were early announcements of some changes to the event which included a different looking currency and some updates to the event shop. New skins are also, but not always, released during this time to match the spooky theme.

| Got Cornelius with Chilling Stories during his release in a past Spooky Event. |
Unfortunately, the end result - in regards to the skins - left me wondering what they were thinking. On this run of skin releases Augustus, Fafnir and Folio got new demonic skins. Of the three, I like Augustus' more. Of the remaining two, Folio is the least favorable.
In fact, his Masquerade skin fits theme better. With that said, that wasn't the problem as new skins are usually difficult to get when they're first released. The problem here is that they put all of the demonic skins for the other heroes in the game into the shop.
Moreover, they disabled purchasing these skins with skin stones during the event and hopefully they go back to their regular availability once it ends. As for the other items in the shop, they were nice but the currency needed to purchase them felt rare and they weren't even on the new island that got released for the month.
For this event, I was able to obtain 6-Spooky Coins with one being part of a gift. I purchased x1-Wish Crystal set, x2-Wish Insignia sets, and Key to All Doors. I would usually get Hero Soul Stone Chests but the remaining heroes that need upgrading aren't available in the chest yet with two who are not going to be in it anytime soon, if at all.
On top of all the changes, Furnace of Souls made a return. The main change I would like to see is a rolling rewards thing. Where instead of having the rewards reset, let the rewards increase with each milestone.
Like after defeating 250-monsters, the rewards will double and for every 500 you'll earn a Spooky Coin or 2,500 Ghost Energy.
Tournament of Power
A nice event that has to be approached with caution. Especially if your focus is solely on heroes you're currently using. Doing too much can lead to unwanted results later; or sooner if it falls close to Guild Raid Boss time.
It's also an event where it would be nice if there wasn't a heighten emphasis on making it to the leader board. But, unfortunately, that seems to be the only place where promising and useful resources can be obtained. Wonderful.
November 6, 2025: Items Converting and New Event Announcement
Some items that were in the inventory from previous events are converting into other stuff. For me, it was the Precious Coins from the Lara Croft event that finally converted into Agility Skin Stones. A whopping 10 per coin. I thought we were past the 10-minimum stage especially considering these coins were a pain to obtain during the event.
Speaking of event, and on the heels of Spooky Festival along with Tournament of Power, we're about to get a new hero. And in the tradition of new heroes, we're also getting pre-orders along with a dedicated event.
November 13, 2025: AoC Winding Down
Area of Conquest is winding down and there doesn't seem to be any middle ground for the ongoing discussions for improving the game mode. Got a survey to fill out but it only showed up on my web [hero-wars dot com] account. In addition to this, the questions were very limited and there wasn't any open ended questions like past surveys.
I'm still for a mix of PVE and PVP elements as the PVP-only setup is causing some issues. Rewards for leveling the castle haven't been improved for the free path and while they have an increase castle level quest it still doesn't make leveling the castle better. I'm still for the flag capture thingy that was suggested...I think back in October.
The main driving force for participating is obtaining resources that are difficult to get elsewhere in decent quantities. I'm also for it to stop being a guild-centric event and just let players play individually. If there's insistence on team play, then randomly assign players to a team.
November 16, 2025: Seer's Game and Electra von Grave Event
![]() |
| 4-star Electra von Grave. They really need to do away with the extra animations. They're really time consuming. |
That said, everyone knows that won't happen for whatever reason. Seer Coins are rare and the cost to continue failed rounds increases exponentially. Anyway, I got some resources from the event despite the stated improvements.
My days are still mixed up for the new hero event, but I believe this is Day-4. I collected and saved up energy for the first 3-days and began completing chapters on Day-3. None of the artifacts were touched until Chapter 3 which is where the Battle Buffs were needed.
Saving energy to upgrade Amulet of Battle to the designated levels ensured I made it to Chapter 5. None of the other buffs were touched as I knew that would cause problems with unlocking chapters. It was around 211 Energy Crystals when I started doing chapters.Didn't use any recommended teams for this one. Just focused on the heroes that I still needed to get maxed out to complete the designated quest chains. This version of Hero Stalls is much better when compared the craziness that was the Verdoc and Phyto event.
Checking in today and claiming energies and doing some other stuff, have me sitting at 89 Energy Crystals. Yesterday, I spent Valor Coins (forgot to keep track) and got enough soul stones to get Electra to 3-stars. Today, I spent 108,000 Valor Coins and wound up with 148 soul stones - forgot to make note of the leftovers from yesterday.
At the moment she is 4-stars and I'm currently working on tasks for her color rank and skills. I also made note of her Demonic Skin tagging along with her release. She's sitting at level 100 but I'm considering upgrading her to 115 to complete some of the event quests for Valor Coins.
In other news, I completely forgot about the Titan Tournament of Power event. Events are usually highlighted on my calendar but I haven't been keeping up with for the past week so some things have fallen off the radar.
November 21, 2025: Updates and 8-Year Anniversary
To recap, the Electra event ended on schedule but I left her at Level 100. I did manage to complete some of the other tasks to earn more Energy Crystals and Valor Coins. On the last day of the event I got her to 5-stars and Rank Orange.
My attention went towards the Titan Tournament of Power where I took some time to assess my titans to see who needed what. Yes, I'm still behind with them. It was mind numbing seeing the costs of upgrades along with realizing how long it takes to gather resources between these upgrade events.
I ended the event in 4th place and got some much needed emeralds. It's currently the 21st which is my in-game anniversary. 8-years to the day since I first started playing this game.
Already mentioned how I got introduced to this game through one of their other games from an offer wall. I think I also recapped why my upgrade progress is slow or non-existent. Have I gotten any further since then?
Fortunately yes, but there are mixed feelings on the progress as you can't build up your heroes/titans too much in certain areas without consequences. At least, that's what I keep reading. Still playing catch up with my commonly used heroes and they differ in regards to the guild raid bosses.
Osh teams are pretty good as is but four of the five need some boosting. The Maestro teams are somewhat situated but they need a lot of work. It's hard to tell what's needed when we only get this boss every other week.
November 23, 2025
Sigurd's Brawls is underway. Not much of the tasks can be completed since the previous 3-titan events used up the majority of resources that were on hand. Can't recall if I did any fights yet but do know that a defense team was put in place.
Since I haven't checked in with the community pages in a while, I just learned about the Emerald City event. Even though it was explained somewhat clearly, I'm still confused about the details. If it's just about spending emeralds, then it'll likely be skipped since Winter Fest is right around the corner.
November 25, 2025: Emerald City is Live
Emerald City launched and it's not good. The goal is to spend emeralds to complete tasks to fill the progress bar to earn rewards on the reward paths -- be it free or both. Cyber-Con keys for the event, also live, are on the reward path but not worth it especially since they're spread so far apart.
Moreover, the Cyber-Con Mysterious Island is in a similar boat. I'm mainly using keys earned from regular tasks and gathering what I get from the random pulls.
November 27, 2025: The Great Storm
The Great Storm is underway and I completed some tasks. Still don't like chests being in the center ring. While doing the pet summoning task I did some summons with emeralds and got curious about the Absolute Pet drop rate.
There is nothing on this in anywhere that's within reach. A question about this did surface on the Discord Starboard but there didn't seem to be a response for said question. So between the eggs and emeralds spent, no Absolute Pet dropped.
November 30, 2025: Rounding Things Out

| Moloch at close to max with totem and skills. |
Am kind of looking forward to December's events, but Winter Fest still tops the list. Just hoping they don't change things for the worst this time around like they did last year.
Trying to stay optimistic as much as possible. Hoping to make some meaningful upgrades to my heroes as soon as I get enough resources to do so.
