Hero Wars Dominion: September 2025

Lucky Road Update:

Thought I was done with the event but earned seven additional coins while working on tasks for the other current events. Earned some emeralds, Essence of Elements, Titan Summoning spheres and some titan artifact chests.

Tournament of Power: Hero Edition

It was an interesting event this time around and I saw some familiar names on the leader board. Fortunately there was some overlapping events. That said, rankings were constantly changing. I finished up some of the doable tasks before heading out to work.

I left the game while in 3rd place. When I got back, the event was over and I was knocked down to 5th. My points were in the 94,000-range while the top-3 were in the 100,000 range.

Tournament of Power: Titan Edition

Started late because I was sleeping on and off at the computer. I did manage to tackle to some to do list items for my titans and got some upgraded. The titan potion requirement and titan skin stone requirement goes up quite a bit after hitting certain points. Was able to do some double and triple dips with the other themed events which helped with getting resources for my titans; they are far behind compared to some other players.

Level 130 Fire Titan Moloch with Orange and Red Artifacts
Level 130 Moloch with orange and red artifacts.
Moloch, surprisingly enough, is more built up compared to the other titans. He's Level 130 with a 130 Absolute Seal (finally), 125 Crown and 110 Weapon. Focus was on his seal during the event.

Attention went toward some of the other titans for the event to help get them caught up; more or less. It would be nice if totem fragments [not a typing error] were part of the rewards for completing tasks. Wishful thinking but how nice would it be if we could collect fragments to create a whole totem.

Any way, completing some of the tasks were a doozy but looking at the amount of time it took just to gather enough resources just to accomplish meaningful upgrades is just ridiculous. As the event began to wind down, I managed to get to 5th place; as per usual. Then I found myself at 4th on the second to last day.

Was looking through everything on the checklist to make sure nothing was overlooked. Managed to get some extra Titan Seal Chests which were used to get Moloch's seal to Absolute Star status. Also did some work on Iyari, Avalon and Sylva.

Avalon and Sylva were very much neglected along with some of the other times. After working on the other titans for a bit, I manged to earn enough points to get into first place. In addition to this, I was able to stay in first place for the remainder of the event. Doubt this will happen again but am enjoying the resources that were obtained.

The Great Storm

Crazy story short, I managed to complete most of the map and defeat the final boss this time around. Stuck with the Storm Chests this time as the Pet Soul Chests aren't worth it anymore. Not because my pets are maxed - which they're not - but because you don't get much of any soul stones from the chests.

Still waiting for when they release a large pet souls chest that give 50-100 soul stones at a time.Wishful thinking, but it would still be nice to have.

Ascension to Asgard & The Phantom Orchestra

An interesting event that I was completing along side the tasks for the Cascade Event. Didn't go all out per say but did manage to get some much needed resources. Depleted my gold reserves down to the last 2-ish million. Yeah, I forgot about the Asgard Boss but did still have some resource chests from the previous ToP [Tournament of Power] event.

Speaking of Asgard Boss, this time around I'm fighting the Phantom Orchestra Level 85. Stuck with the main four teams that are doing consistent damage while saving the last team for experimental lineups. In this case, an Aurora team that can do more than 3-million damage.

Fortunately, an arrangement was discovered and managed to deal over 4-million damage. Not everyone in the lineup is built up but am planning on upgrades when I figure out who needs what.

Under the Power of Water: Cascade Event

and Energy Exchange.
I went as far as Chapter 4: Lighthouse Breakdown. After that I called it quits with that portion of the event. Shifted focus to building up Cascade to claim the associated rewards. Completed all of the Taming the Wave tasks except for Lake of Woes which was for upgrading glyphs.

Depending on the hero, I was either out of insignia, crystals or gold. Even when the gold got replenished, I was still out of crystals and insignia. For the Under the Power of Water tasks, I completed all except the ones that required earning VIP points, Buying Emeralds, Spending Emeralds and spending Sapphire Medallions.

Red Rank, Level 115 Cascade with maxed skills for current level.
Level 115 Cascade at Rank Red and
Absolute Star.
This will be the second hero event where I got the focal hero to red rank and possibly the first where I got said hero to absolute star. Not sure why, but I started thinking back through some of the past new hero events and can remember where you could complete the bulk of the hero related tasks by leveling up your hero to Level 90.

I had to upgrade Cascade to Level 115 just to complete the skills tasks. I was able to get four of his glyphs to 40 (max level pre-level 100). I maxed his base skin along with his GoE [Gift of the Elements]. He also has a second skin - Mythic - but that one is paywalled. What else did I do?

Oh, I upgraded his Ascension to Rank 2 (ran of Intelligence crystals) and got his Weapon and Book Artifacts to Level 90 and 3-stars. No ring for him yet. Why all the effort for upgrading the new hero? Well, I had plans to use him for Maestro in my experimental team with Aurora.

Remember the new Aurora team I mentioned earlier for the Level 85 Phantom Orchestra Boss? That new team consisted of Aurora - Oliver, Maya - Albus, Krista - Khorus, Cascade - Merlin, Astrid/Lucas - Fenris and Albus for Team Pet. Major improvement this time around for sure as I got 4,494,895 damage against the boss. Of the five, Cascade was the top damage dealer followed by Maya and Astrid/Lucas.

One of the things noted, though observed and mostly ignored, is that some of the gear gets crazy after a certain point. You go from needing 5-20 fragments to needing 80+ on top of other fragments for the other items. La Mort's Card is in heavy need and the amount got from a past shop was depleted rather quickly.

I'm not going any further than Red for Cascade especially after looking at what's required to do so. Level-wise, I have to check my inventory to see if I have any experience potions.

Thoughts on the Event

The event was okay. While we got the Hero Stall back, it was still a pain as getting the needed heroes to build specific teams was tedious and consumed a lot of Stall Coins. When this wasn't causing problems, team compositions were.

There was a moment in either Chapter 1 or 2 where you could progress in the fight is your team consisted on Krista, Lars and Cascade. Replacing some or all of them made the fight doable. In addition to this, limited energy for unlocking new chapters.

The shop was also a nice addition and I was able to get some gear for my heroes including Cascade. One the downsides from the event was the lack of quick links. Usually there are links next to the event tasks that will take you to the designated area but they were missing from the task windows.

The store/shop link especially would've been nice to have as you had to hunt for it. It took approximately 3-clicks just to get to the shop. Outside of that, the resource haul was pretty nice. Got some stuff for my heroes and pets.

As another bonus, You weren't limited in hero soul stone obtainment. Spent all Sapphire Medallions early as the event currency was going to be converted immediately after the event. Usually we have 24-hours after the end to spend them but that seems to be out the window at the moment.

What Else is Happening?

At the time of writing, just Weaving Patterns and Demon Dolls. Weaving Patterns use to be nice but I'm lacking the new pattern that isn't in the chests yet. Moreover, I'm short a flag (mainly for collection purposes). On that note, I'm tapping out for the month. I'll check in next month with more of my lack of progress and possibly other in-game shenanigans.
